Wednesday, May 3rd, 1950: Hit Parade! Santana Pops 5 Hits!
It seemed that Hood River right fielder Ramiro Santana could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Brewers still dropped the game to the Wildcats by the score of 8-4. He did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Ogden prevailed in the ballgame at Lewis & Clark Field.

"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough. We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play. The balls just fell in for base hits. Some days they do that," Santana explained in the postgame press interview.

R. Santana tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season Santana has hit 1 home run and posted a .265 batting average.
