In an outstanding outing, Andy Forbes tamed Denver on a 4-hit shutout. The Baton Rouge hurler went the distance, finishing with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 6-0 win.
"He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Denver manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."

Stephen Griffin shut 'em down and shut 'em out, hurling Spokane past Denver 4-0 in a complete game victory.
He told SION sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
