| | Thursday, May 18th, 1950: Hit Parade! Craddock Pops 5 Hits! It was a good day for the Appleseeds at Ballpark of Livonia as they clipped the Chattanooga Cherokees 5-4. It was tremendous day for Jason Craddock, who went on quite a hitting spree with a 5 for 5 barrage.
The Yakima first baseman told reporters after his big 5-hit performance, "I don't have any buzz words. I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' as they say. Today I picked up the spin very well."
