"I felt strong the entire game," Sargent said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."

Luis Cruz of Worcester apparently doesn't as he peppered Kansas City with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The Outlaws pulled out a 18-6 win.
He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?"
One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!"
L. Cruz singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off R. Hefley in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off R. Lewis in the 9th.

He told SION sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
James held the Providence Reds without a run, tossing a 4-hitter while walking 4 and fanning 11.
