The Steamboats center fielder came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Wilson and a tough day for Providence.
"I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan."
Plan or not, Wilson delivered today -- 5-6 is outstanding in any league.
R. Wilson tripled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off C. Lewis in the 9th.

"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."
LeBlanc shut down the Worcester Whalers, blanking them on 5 hits while registering 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.
