   The last two game should be interesting. Great way to end the season.

   Props to Minnesota, Rochester and Portland this has been a fun pennant/wild card race. Last sim Minnesota and Buffalo played three straight shutouts; two for the Bolts and one for the Moose.

   By the way, Dalton has hit 44 solo home runs this season. That total alone is second highest in the league.

   Wish he would have played the whole season... could have had a chance to add another Mason Award to his mantle.

   Game One of the Portland/Minneapolis series was a gem. Gimentez was amazing getting the shutout, but Prado might have been even more dominant despite taking the loss.

   He surrendered two hits and three walks, losing 1-0.
   The hits were a leadoff homerun in the 2nd inning which was immediately followed by a single. For the next 24 outs he (nearly but not technically) faced the minimum. A 4th inning walk was erased by a double play. The next baserunner was due to a one-out walk in the top of the 9th. That runner was later thrown out stealing second base to end the inning. Other than the homerun, no Pioneer player made it past 1st base and only two runners were stranded all night.

   After allowing a baserunner to 3rd base both in the 2nd and 3rd innings, Gimentez settled down not allowing another baserunner until the 7th inning. Then the Moose opened with two hits and had runners at 1st and 3rd with no outs. Gimentez got out of the jam with a groundball and two more strikeouts. In the 9th he finished his dominating performance by retiring the side on five pitches.

   Wow. What a Game 7... six of the seven total runs were scored in the final 3 innings. Which team scored the last, winning run? You'll have to wait a bit to find out. ;)

    The league would also like to announce revenue sharing of $421,000 going from the teams that went over the cash cap (excess profit) to the teams that are in the worst shape.

    Miami $13,000
    Providence $102,000
    Oakland $102,000
    Indy $102,000
    Columbus $102,000

    A bunch of these teams are in serious financial shape and aren't taking necessary steps to change over to profit (still operating at a loss this season) for example:

    Providence spent $104k more than they earned
    Oakland spent $340k more
    Columbus spent $286k more
    The other two made a profit this season to pay down their debt.

    There are currently no penalties for running in debt and I know a good chunk of this has to do with conversion and changing salary demands. However, please be warned that I may institute penalties in the future, if teams aren't making progress.
